What do you expect from the candidates you meet?

The main thing is real motivation for the financial market sector. Given our positioning, we pay special attention to candidates who can demonstrate a real attraction for the environment in which we operate.

What do you tell the candidates about Asset Technology?

First of all, I tell them about our job. The financial market environment is at once complex, exciting and highly motivating for any consultant who wants to take up technical and human challenges. Then, I describe Asset Technology’s organization. We give priority to close relations and exchange between the staff. The reviews, conferences workshops we hold regularly allow the consultants to meet and share their experience. I also emphasize our recognition in the financial market environment and the prospects open to us. Asset Technology is now recognized by the biggest European financial institutions. We can offer international careers.

What types of advancement do you offer your consultants?

IT consultants advance to technical positions (architect, technical expert) or positions as project manager based on their business knowledge. Functional consultants and business analysts can advance cross-functionally to new functional sectors or vertically to project manager or project director positions. They can also join our subsidiary Asset Alpha, a consulting firm dedicated to Asset Management.

At the same time, in-house, all the consultants can advance to positions of senior consultants and then of managing consultants. Their role then, in addition to the projects on which they are working, is to take a more active part in the internal life of Asset Technology. They perform a supervisory role for more junior consultants, and also take part in the recruitment process and in some commercial projects.

And yet there are consultants who leave your company?

Some of our consultants decide, after a number of assignments, to join one of our clients. For us, this means that as a consultancy and service company, we have met the expectations both of our staff and our clients. Many former Asset Technology consultants have become our clients, by the way.
