The sharing of information, knowledge and competencies is one of the key values of Asset Technology. It results in:
Dual follow-up by a business manager and a consultant manager. Very regular meetings allowing discussion on projects, the business and coming changes.
Half-yearly interviews, in addition to regular follow-up, enabling a formal review of the assignment in progress and the objectives for the coming six months. They also make it possible to allow for the consultants’ wishes regarding training and career advancement at Asset Technology.
Conferences held regularly to allow the consultants to know the possible types of assignments and to discuss both the technical and operational aspects of their assignments.
Each consultant can take one or more training courses each year. These courses, chosen by agreement with the consultant, are adapted to his (her) position. They can relate to the content of the assignment in progress or be chosen by the consultant to broaden his (her) competencies on both the technical and operational levels.
Managing one’s career
Software engineering consultants can advance, depending on their wishes and their skills, to positions as project manager, architect, technical expert or a position in project management.
Functional consultants will have the opportunity to enhance their range of skills by moving into various operating areas. They will also be able to advance to positions as project manager or project director. At last, our consultant can move forward to our consulting firm Asset Alpha.
Every consultant can, when the timing is appropriate, be promoted to a senior or managing position.
