« After my graduation in 2004, I wanted to work as an IT programmer. However, I did not know which sector to turn to. Asset Technology offered a position in Finance, which I had not considered before as I lacked professional luggage in the area. The offer seemed interesting: I liked the idea of acquiring financial competencies, and I was fascinated by capital markets. Hence I started a project as a programmer within a dealing room. I immediately connected with this fast-paced, bouncy environment.
Additionally, I had the satisfaction to be directly liaising with the users so I was able to observe the response of the final users to my work. Rapidly, I noticed how crucial information systems are for the course of business. The issues are extremely diverse, the systems are complex: it is indeed a challenging environment! Therefore I feel very satisfied to have joined that path, and I keep enjoying the journey! »
